Up early for Gokotta, but the dawn chorus has largely moved away. The Dunnocks and Greenfinches were vocal, as ever. The Goldfinches have continued to visit the feeders in the front garden.
On my walk I counted 6 Speckled Wood butterflies and a Large White. Up on Beachy Brow there was a sing Garden Warbler that skulked between a few bushes, but typically would not give a good view.
Down the hill was a lovely singing Greenfinch.
