A change in the weather, Double-flowered Celandine, Apple Blossom and Green Wood Peckers - Day 25

What a difference a day makes? The morning was cold and grey. A brisk walk around Foxholes Wood revealed that the Anemones and Celandines had not opened. An exception to this is a small patch of double-flowered Celandine. There was lots of Green Woodpecker calling

In the garden the Apple trees are starting to come into blossom, the last of the fruit trees.
