West Pier, Brighton

I visited Brighton Beach, looking for the Starling murmuration. All my research suggested it would be at the ruined West Pier. No Starlings in sight, but the incredible ruined victorian steel-shell of the  peer was amazing.

 Herring Gulls and a Cormorant.

Some of the remaining pillars.

The roosting seabirds were disturbed by a passing aircraft.
