Eridge Rocks, a Sussex Wildlife Trust nature reserve, is part of an exposed sandstone ridge in the High Weald south of Tunbridge Wells.
Three Hawfinch sat briefly in the top of this magnificent tree, a site record for the reserve.
The sandstone has weathered in remarkable 'honeycomb' patterns in some places.
The Tunbridge Filmy Fern, Hymenophyllum tunbrigense.
There are some lovely mature trees on the reserve. I heard at least two Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming territorially.
These Hazel catkins were well developed. This year they have been out since the end of December, the earliest I have seen them.
