Large Skipper

The Old Clergy House in Alfriston is on the edge of the Cuckmere Valley. It has a small, but interesting garden that usually has some interest wildlife.

 

 Large Skipper. This individual was in the vegetable garden. It was very active, repeatedly taking off and chasing other butterflies, before landing again on a prominent perch.
