My first visit for 17 years. As a child Chester Zoo was always the biggest and best zoo I had a chance to visit. Since then it has got bigger and has redeveloped so thoroughly that it seems to have gone to another level. My 8.5 hour visit was all action, moving from one fantastic watching experience to another. I still had to miss out a few sections. The butterfly section was worth the entrance fee on its own.
