Summer Holiday Day 44: Wryneck, Beachy Head




Genuinely thrilled to finally catch up with a Wryneck at Beachy Head. I have come and looked in vain so many times after a reported sighting. Twice I have heard them call from a well hidden location. Today I saw and heard!

Summer Holiday Day 39: Medusa clouds over Eastbourne


Rain falling from these clouds evaporates before it reaches the ground.





Dramatic and busy skies as the long hot weather of the summer is replaced by the first front from former hurricane Erin.
