Jay, Welsh Poppy, Common and Lesser Whitethroats - Day 45

A much greyer and damper day than forecasted. Very tired after yesterday's extra long walk. Walking up through Beachy Brow I saw a lovely Jay. Welsh Poppy and Ramsons continue to flower in the wood.

On the downs the scrub mosaic was alive with Common and Lesser Whitethroats. Rain drove me home. Later on in Further Plantation, still in rain, I was amazed to see how many English Elem fruits are on the ground.
