Lesser Fleabane - this flower attracted lots of butterflies.

Clouded Yellow. It is extremely unusual for this to be the most common species of butterfly I see on a walk; there were over fifty on the day!

Some of the couple of dozen Yellow Wagtails feeding around the grazing cattle. No wonder they do this when you look at the number of flies on the cattle. Another year first.

 Originally a neolithic site, modified in the Dark Ages, converted by the Romans into an amphitheatre, then modified again during the Civil War.
