Birling Gap, 6th August

A very hot day. Birling Gap was as busy as I have ever seen it. The migrating Willow Warblers didn't seem to mind.

Willow Warbler, next to the cafe.

Another Willow Warbler feeding among seed heads.

My first migrating Wheatear, after seeing breeding birds a week earlier in the Lake District.

Stonechat, at the bottom of The Lookout.

Corn Bunting.

Painted Lady.
