A hugely exciting find of two individuals basking. I have suspected that there was a population of Common Lizards on the downs above Hill Road. Two fleeting glimpses in nearly 18 years, then 'Stumpy' was sighted on Hill Road on the 18th March Common Lizard, Hill Road, and now these two.
