Four day old moon, Jevington Plantation

Clucking Blackbirds as the dusk drew in. The paths nearly flat and dry after a week of no rain. The transition from sunny and mild to another bitterly cold night subdued the bird song. Then a distant fox began to scream, triggering the brief but wild burst from a Song Thrush.
