Despite them being Critically Endangered, the West Rise Cormorants are still keen on devouring the Eels that migrate back to the main lake to breed. However, they are not an easy meal.
This Cormorant had to battle for a good minute, with the Eel nearly escaping, before it could swallow its prey. I assume the Eel kept fighting in the stomach.
