June Day 3: Hummingbird Hawkmoth

Hummingbird Hawkmoths are a regular visitor to my Eastbourne garden, where they feed on the valerian. This moth, my second of the year, is the first one in the garden.

After feeding busily the moth landed on sun warmed tiles, where it flattened itself and remained for several minutes, presumably to increase its body temperature.
