Castle Water

A mild October day for a walk from Winchelsea Beach to Castle Water.

Large numbers of Lapwing, Black-headed Gull and Wigeon.

A lone Ruff, in the middle of the picture.

Lapwings lifted by a near by Marsh Harrier.

The warm sunny weather generated some wonderful skies over the Beach reserve.

I think this is a Black Lace Weaver Spider
