Butterflies in the Blackthorn, Hill Road

Last summer the 'new' White Path, that curves above Hill Road provided a wonderful wildlife spectacle when the Buddleia was in flower: Butterflies on the White Path and Butterflies on the White Path, part 2.

This Spring, the flowering Blackthorn has provided some early butterfly action, with Peacocks, Commas and Brimstones in good numbers. The Red Admirals that were around a few weeks seemed to have moved on.
