Batemans

Lichen growing in the orchard

Evidence of extensive flooding doesn't seem to have deterred the Snowdrops, or the Moles, judging by the molehills.

Jevington Plantation

Grey, but mild and an easing of the remarkable rain. The birdsong is lovely which promises Spring despite the mud. Perhaps the last of the really huge Ash trees have fallen recently, however, thankfully the paths are now clear.

Perhaps the most vibrant thing in the wood. Turkey Tail fungus.

The first Sweet Violets are in flower.
