Incredibly foggy day, with water condensing on twigs and falling like rain. Tawny Owl calling at dusk.

The sheltered patch of ancient woodland still has some sizeable dead Ash, much of which succumbed to the storm. Still more remain, waiting for strong winds from the north to finish this chapter of the woodlands history.
