Teasel near the Belle Tout tumult. The mild autumn weather with low cloud obscuring the higher hills to the east.

A very high tide and rough sea had forced the local Rock Pipits up into the car park. The local House Sparrows were making good use of a puddle from the recent rain.

Jevington Plantation
The mild, dry Autumn continues, and the leaves in the wood lie thickly on the ground. The Hazel and Elm are yet to colour, while the Walnut are briefly distinctive, with smaller specimens revealing themselves in dark brown and yellow.
Blue sky moving south, brings cooler weather.

Fox and Magpies, Hill Road
I was intrigued to see these Magpies so relaxed and close to the Fox. I think a pair of Foxes had raised a litter near the field earlier in the year, so perhaps the animals were familiar with each other.
