A pair have bred at Hampden Park, and still had 6 surviving goslings on Saturday.

Swifts

Today I saw about 20 Swifts over Warren Hill at about 5pm, then at dusk nearly 40 were feeding over the house.

Blackbirds

A pair have started to regularly visit the feeders in the front garden, collecting food and nesting material.

Common Spotted Orchids

The small grassy clearing in Further Plantation has a good population of these flowers.

June 4th - Great Spotted Woodpecker nest

After repeated searches, I finally found this nest high in a dead Ash Tree in Further Plantation.
